In Altai Krai (Siberia, Russia), the number of pensioners seeking assistance from the employment service is declining. According to the regional Department for Labor and Employment of the Population, as reported by NGS22.RU, 299 older adults turned to specialists for support in 2025.
This figure is lower than in the previous year, 2024, when 363 pensioners applied for job search help. In total, 168 pensioners were employed in 2024.
Despite the overall decrease in activity, pensioners in Altai Krai continue to actively find work. The largest numbers of employed older people are in sectors such as education, manufacturing, and agriculture.
