Novosibirsk Worker Receives Settlement After Employer Delay

Rostrud restored the rights of a regional resident after a dismissal payment issue.

The labor inspectorate ensured that a Novosibirsk worker received overdue settlement funds from their former employer.

In the Novosibirsk region, an employee was paid 15,000 rubles (approximately $160 at current rates) after dismissal. This was reported by Rostrud«s press service.

The worker appealed to the State Labor Inspection of the region regarding the fact that after dismissal, he was not paid all the required amounts.

«During the assessment of the validity of the arguments stated in the appeal, it was established that LLC »Intersib 54« did not make the settlement upon termination of the employment contract with the worker,» explained Rostrud.

According to specialists« assessment, the employer violated Articles 22, 84.1, 140, and 236 of the Labor Code regarding the payment of all amounts due upon dismissal. After Rostrud»s intervention, the worker was paid all the money.

LLC «Intersib 54» is engaged in wholesale supplies. The company could not promptly comment on the situation. NGS sent a request by email.

In January, workers at a Novosibirsk factory were paid salaries, which they had been waiting for since the end of 2025. People received the money after an NGS publication about employees being sent on idle time without pay.
