Novosibirsk firm fined for 7 million wage debt
In the Novosibirsk region, after intervention by the prosecutor«s office, employees of a construction firm received 7 million rubles (about $77,800) that their employer owed them.
The Tatarsk Interdistrict Prosecutor»s Office of Novosibirsk Oblast found during an inspection that the organization owed wages to 70 employees totaling more than 7 million rubles. The money had not been paid from February to March 2026.
The prosecutor«s office issued a presentation to the head of the organization. Additionally, the employer was fined 10,000 rubles (about $111) under an administrative article for non-payment of wages (Part 6 of Article 5.27 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation).
After the prosecutor»s intervention, the employer paid off the debt to the employees.
As NGS learned from its own source, the company in question is Sibaviastroyproekt JSC.
According to Kontur.Fokus, Sibaviastroyproekt JSC was registered in Novosibirsk on August 25, 2008. The main activity: other types of construction of residential and non-residential buildings. The general director is Yevgeny Medvedev. Revenue at the end of 2025 was 311.1 million rubles (about $3.46 million at current rates), net profit was 516,000 rubles (about $5,700). It is an active participant in public procurement tenders. In particular, in 2023 it performed contract work for the construction of a school in Tatarsk (Novosibirsk Oblast). In addition, the company is building a new school in Tatarsk for 550 seats, replacing one that collapsed in September 2025.
NGS sent a request to the company for a comment on the situation.
In April, NGS reported that former employees of Podorozhnik found themselves as guarantors on the chain«s loans and were also awaiting wage payments.
