Kindergarten staff in Chelyabinsk region alarmed by salary delay
Employees of a kindergarten in Asha, Chelyabinsk region, have complained about delayed salary payments, with the issue reportedly affecting several preschools. They appealed to the governor on social media for faster disbursement, and the regional education ministry confirmed the problem.
A resident of Asha reported the payment delay in the VKontakte group «Texler, HELP!!!».
«Hello, Alexey Leonidovich. In Asha, kindergarten staff salaries have been delayed for a week. The December 2025 payments were made at the end of December, before the New Year. The advance for January 2026 was supposed to be transferred on January 21, but today is January 28 and there»s still no pay,« wrote Svetlana. »Every day they promise, but the payments never come. I don«t know about school teachers, but in the city»s kindergartens, this is the situation today. Please help.«
In an interview with 74.RU, she expressed concern for her disabled husband, who works as a janitor at kindergarten No. 17.
The kindergarten informed 74.RU that all staff were notified of delayed January advance payments due to the re-registration of documents and accounts for budgetary organizations. The Chelyabinsk Region Ministry of Education confirmed this.
«The delay in funding is due to the re-registration of municipal accounts following the transition from municipal districts to districts. Funding was fully allocated to the Ashinsky municipal district on January 25–27 after necessary procedures were completed,» the ministry stated.
As this article was being prepared, the kindergarten staff received their advance payment.
