Yekaterinburg mass accident leaves Christmas tree on road
A five- to six-car pileup on Bebel Street in Yekaterinburg on February 4 left a Christmas tree on the road and paralyzed traffic, though no injuries were reported.

On the evening of February 4, a mass accident occurred in Yekaterinburg. On Bebel Street, five or six cars collided. According to eyewitnesses, none of the drivers were injured. However, the cars blocked almost the entire lane of traffic.

A serious traffic jam has already formed at the scene. Everyone is trying to bypass the crashed cars. Traffic is difficult toward the Sorterovka district.
The city’s State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (GIBDD) has not yet commented on the accident.

The city’s GIBDD reported that no one was injured in the accident. Traffic inspectors helped drivers complete procedural documents. “We urge drivers to be extremely vigilant and cautious when driving,” noted the city’s GIBDD.
