Woman Lashes Child with Leash Over Father's Ethnicity

A woman attacked a family with two children in the middle of a street in Yekaterinburg. The parents were returning home from a playground with their eight-year-old son and one-year-old daughter. A neighbor was walking towards them with a dog. According to the victims, she suddenly attacked them with a leash.

«First she swore obscenities, then started hitting my husband, but somehow hit our daughter, although my husband tried to shield the child from her, but she struck her in the face and head,» said the mother of the injured girl. «I was also worried that her dachshund might attack our son. He is very afraid of dogs. He sat down in the snow and curled up into a ball, he was so scared.»

The couple says that the neighbor has long been harassing them and demanding that they move out of the apartment where the family has lived for 12 years.

«The reason for the attack is that my husband looks like a migrant. And she wants us to move. However, my husband is Russian, his name is Nikita, and we own the apartment,» said the victim Ekaterina. «Before this, she attacked another family, saying that the man was a drug dealer. Then she switched to us.»

Doctors documented soft tissue swelling in the beaten toddler. The girl«s parents contacted the police.
