In Krasnodar on the morning of 5 February, a woman died after being hit by a car on Moskovskaya Street.

According to the press service of the Krasnodar City Police Department (UMVD), the accident occurred at around 5:40 a.m. Preliminary reports indicate that a 23-year-old driver of an Audi was traveling along Moskovskaya Street from Solnechnaya Street toward Zipovskaya Street and hit a woman who was crossing the road at a pedestrian crosswalk.
The 61-year-old victim died at the scene from her injuries. An investigation into the accident is underway.
On social media, eyewitnesses reported that the woman was still alive a few minutes after the crash. According to one local resident, paramedics attempted to resuscitate the victim at around 5:50 a.m. She also said the deceased worked near the accident scene.
Earlier, a foreign car struck and killed a pedestrian on the sidewalk on Yasnopolyanskaya Street.
