Woman dies in head-on collision on Omsk highway
A 52-year-old woman died after her Chery Tiggo crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a Renault on the Omsk–Krasnoyarka highway on February 5.

A fatal car crash occurred in Omsk District on February 5. According to the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate (GIBDD), a report of a collision between two foreign cars on the Omsk–Krasnoyarka highway was received at 8:40 a.m.
The Chery Tiggo, driven by the woman who died, was thrown into a ditch.

It turned out that near the 28th kilometer of the road, a 52-year-old woman driving a Chery Tiggo pulled into the oncoming lane, where she collided with a Renault driven by a 66-year-old man. As a result of the collision, the Chery driver died at the scene from her injuries. Her car was thrown into a ditch, and the Renault also sustained significant damage.
An investigation into the accident is now underway, with GIBDD officers working at the scene.
