This morning on Sibirskaya Street in Tomsk, a pipe burst, partially flooding the street with cold water. According to Tomskvodokanal, over 600 homes will be without cold water until evening while repairs are made.
This morning, social media reported that part of Sibirskaya Street was underwater. According to eyewitnesses, the section of road from Komsomolsky to Kievskaya was flooded, with water in some places reaching wheel level.
According to Tomskvodokanal, a burst was detected today on a water main. Repair crews are starting to fix the accident. During the work from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., 632 homes on Altaiskaya, Komsomolsky, Lva Tolstogo, and Sibirskaya will have no cold water. The full list of addresses can be found here.
The city hall also clarified that the section of Sibirskaya from Komsomolsky to Kievskaya will be temporarily closed to traffic.
