Ufa Lada Hits Teen Biker at Gas Station

A 17-year-old boy on an off-road motorcycle was hospitalized after colliding with a Lada Vesta that was illegally exiting a gas station in Ufa on the evening of July 20. Police said the teenager had no driver’s license.

​In Ufa, a 17-year-old teenager on an off-road motorcycle crashed into a car and ended up in hospital, the city traffic police reported. The incident occurred late in the evening of July 20 at the interchange of Zaki Validi Street and Salavat Yulaev Avenue.

According to law enforcement, the accident was caused by a 51-year-old driver of a Lada Vesta. The man, driving a domestic car, was leaving the gas station in an unauthorized place when he struck the two-wheeled vehicle.

The biker was taken to hospital with injuries. Meanwhile, inspectors found that the young man did not have a driver’s license.

A group of teenagers on a quad bike had also was injured in Sterlitamak earlier, as reported. A 14-year-old girl drove into a ditch and crashed into a stack of bricks; she and her passengers were taken away by ambulance.
