On Thursday, February 5, a tragedy occurred on the roads of Samara. A driver died in the Sovetsky District.
The driver died, but not as a result of the collision.

Eyewitnesses were the first to report the incident. Photos from the scene appeared on social media.
«A fatal accident occurred on Sovetskaya Armii / Gagarina streets,» the post read.
Residents noticed a person lying on the road covered with a blanket. The police reported what actually happened. It turned out that two cars collided.
«The driver of a UAZ vehicle felt a deterioration in his health after the accident and died before the arrival of traffic police and medics. The circumstances and exact cause of the man«s death are being established,» the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Samara Region said.
A similar accident occurred in late January in Tolyatti. There, a truck driver died at the wheel.
