Emergency vehicles from EMERCOM are on site. One fire truck had been standing there for a while. A command vehicle and another car, apparently an EMERCOM operational group, arrived.
The entrance to the facility is closed. More cars are arriving — presumably TGC employees and interested citizens.
In the comments of the Telegram channel Chita.Ru, people write that electricity has been restored in homes in Tsarskoye, Severny, Kadala, and Krasnaya Zvezda.
Deputy Chairman of the regional government Aleksey Goncharov wrote in his Telegram channel that as of 01:20, emergency work is underway — power is being gradually restored to some homes.
On the night of 5 February, around 00:15, a large part of Chita lost power. The outages affected the area from the city center to the gardening associations (SNT) beyond Smolenka and Ugdan. Some residents also report a drop in temperature in their heating radiators.
As reported by Andrey Chebykin, director of the Chitinskaya Generatsiya branch of PJSC TGC-14, an emergency situation occurred at CHPP-1, resulting in a partial disconnection of consumers. According to him, emergency crews have already begun work.
No additional information is currently available on the causes and timeline for restoring power.
