Thermal drone aids search for missing Moscow-region schoolgirl

On 21 July, search teams are looking for a missing 13-year-old schoolgirl in the Biopribor gardening cooperative near Serpukhov in the Moscow region. As MSK1.RU has learned, dozens of people have joined the search, and at the moment 56 people from the LizaAlert search-and-rescue team alone are looking for the girl.
The search operation has set up a round-the-clock command post near Pushchino.

At night, volunteers launched a drone with a thermal imager, covering about 130 kilometers. The LizaAlert and Spas Grad rescue teams searched dozens of private residential areas and kilometers of forest. After questioning witnesses and eyewitnesses, there is still no information about the girl’s whereabouts.

Recall that the schoolgirl left home to find a lost ring. This happened on 19 July. She took a flashlight with her and has not returned to this day.
«Overnight, 18 search groups were formed and 18 search tasks were assigned. The groups have completed them and are currently receiving new tasks. An unmanned aerial vehicle with a thermal imager was also deployed. We have established coordination with territorial police bodies and the Investigative Committee,» — the LizaAlert press service reported.
A headquarters has now been deployed in the Pushchino area and is operating around the clock.
«There are green areas, yes, forested areas, and they are also being checked. People continue to arrive at the search site. Coordinators are also relieving each other,» — added the press service of the LizaAlert search team.
The press service of the Spas Grad search team added that the distribution of missing-person flyers has already spread as far as Podolsk. The searchers are now asking everyone to review footage from cameras in private residential areas or apartment buildings for 20 July, in order to find traces of the girl.
Earlier, MSK1.RU reported that the girl lived with her mother and two younger brothers. For the past two months she has not used a phone, so it is impossible to track her via communication means.
