Tanker driver dies on M-12 toll road in crash

A fatal accident occurred on the M-12 toll road in the Nizhny Novgorod region the day before. Details were provided by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The incident occurred on a section of road in the Ardatovsky District. The 63-year-old driver of the tanker truck exceeded the speed limit and lost control, causing the multi-ton vehicle to be thrown into a guardrail.

When medics arrived at the scene, they determined that the driver had fallen ill at the wheel and died from acute heart failure.

Earlier, we reported that a driverless car caused an accident in Nizhny Novgorod. A man parked a foreign car on Osharskaya Street without engaging the handbrake. The car rolled down a hill, crashed into a Škoda, and hit a pedestrian.

In mid-July, on Butyrskaya Street, a car and a bus collided. As a result of the strong impact, the driver of the foreign car and one of the passengers were injured.
