Surgut Gas Station Explosion Caught on Video

The moment of the explosion at a gas station in the Surgut district was captured by several eyewitnesses. The footage shows a tractor and a tanker truck on fire. Then a powerful blast occurs. The video was published by the Telegram channel mdps86.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia (EMERCOM), the fire at the gas station occurred today, February 5, around noon in the settlement of Solnechny, Surgut district. By the time firefighters arrived, a MAZ fuel tanker was engulfed in flames. It was extinguished only by 12:41 p.m., and the fire area covered about 150 square meters.

The ministry also confirmed that two people were injured as a result of the fire, but did not specify who they were. It is noted that the footage shows firefighters near the tanker at the time of the explosion.

«As a result of the incident, two people were injured. They were taken to a medical facility, and details are being clarified. A total of 20 personnel and 5 units of equipment from EMERCOM of Russia were involved in extinguishing the fire,» the ministry added.
