Sochi Shoots Down Seven Drones in Black Sea Attack

Local residents reported hearing explosions in downtown Sochi during the drone attack.
In Sochi, the threat of an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles has been canceled, resort mayor Andrey Proshunin reported. The air defense system successfully repelled the attack.
— There is no danger for residents and guests of the resort city of Sochi! If you spot suspicious objects, remember: debris from downed drones can pose a threat. Do not approach them closely, do not photograph them, and do not use mobile phones near them. Move to a safe distance and dial 112, — writes the head of Sochi in his Telegram channel.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, from 20:00 to 23:00 Moscow time, on-duty air defense systems destroyed 53 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of aircraft type: 29 — over the waters of the Azov Sea, 7 — over the territory of Krasnodar Krai, 7 — over the waters of the Black Sea, 6 — over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, several UAVs were shot down in Rostov and Kursk oblasts.
