On the morning of Wednesday, February 4, a road accident occurred on Grazhdansky Prospekt in the Kalininsky District of St. Petersburg. A taxi that had stopped in the right lane was hit by a snowplow.
Video footage shows a snowplow rear-ending a stopped taxi on a city street.
The collision happened around 9:30. The video footage obtained by Fontanka shows the car slowing down and stopping, after which the snowplow hits it.
It is believed that the taxi driver braked to let out a passenger, but the stop took too long, leading to the rear-end collision.
