Slyusar Reports Massive Drone Attack on Rostov Region

The Rostov region came under a massive drone attack overnight on February 5. Governor Yuri Slyusar reported this on his Telegram channel.
According to him, air defense forces repelled an attack of more than 30 drones in 12 cities and districts of the Rostov region. These include Rostov, Taganrog, Bataysk, Novoshakhtinsk, Shakhty, and Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, as well as the districts of Azovsky, Neklinovsky, Oktyabrsky, Kamensky, Krasnosulinsky, and Zernogradsky.
«The information on the consequences is being clarified,», — Slyusar wrote.
161.RU reported that at least one person was injured. It is a truck driver whose vehicle was hit by drone debris. The man«s condition is assessed as moderate severity, not life-threatening.
In addition, in Bataysk, five cars parked at an agricultural enterprise parking lot and a warehouse building were damaged. In Novoshakhtinsk, the facade and window glazing of a private house were damaged.
The Russian Ministry of Defense officially reported that during the night of February 5, 95 aircraft-type drones were destroyed and intercepted over six territories of the country. Of these, 27 were over the territory of the Rostov region. The main target of the attack this night, apparently, was Krasnodar Krai, which was attacked by 36 drones.
