Sewer Burst Leaves Krasnodar High-Rise in Unsanitary State
Residents of a 12-story building at 25 Yuzhnaya Street (Suvorova Street area, Gorgaz microdistrict) in Krasnodar complained about the consequences of a sewer burst. According to them, the accident occurred on the evening of 19 July in the basement of the first entrance, but two days later the premises had not been cleaned up.
The complaint appeared on 21 July in the city«s social media.
«The HOA management in this building is showing complete inaction. The HOA employees (a plumber and a handyman) who arrived were not even provided with gloves. Their boots were also provided by tenants of the premises. As of today, disinfection has still not arrived. I poured the chlorine myself. The remaining aftermath of the sewer burst I also cleaned up myself. Complete unsanitary conditions and inaction!» — wrote the author of the post.
According to her, in the morning the residents were promised to send a cleaning service, then the time was postponed to 8:30 AM, but the cleaning never took place.
A correspondent from 93.RU contacted the woman. She confirmed her statements and said that at the time of the conversation, the employees had not come and the cleaning had not been performed.
The homeowners« association »Na Yuzhnoy« (HOA), which manages the building, describes the situation differently. Chairman Alexander Kuznechikov told 93.RU that he personally visited the scene and the consequences of the accident have already been eliminated.
«Everything has been cleaned up and everything is fine. Everything has been disinfected with chlorine. The employees arrived, and I arrived personally,» said the chairman.
Meanwhile, local residents continue to complain.
Recall that today, traffic will be partially blocked on Kirilla Rossinskogo Street until 15 September — that is, for a little over a month. Driving will be prohibited on the section from Kraeveda Solovyova Street to Yekaterinovskaya Street towards 1 May Street due to construction of new drainage networks.
