Schoolgirl's rape claim splits Moscow district, families trade accusations

«Through the darkness and the glare of phone flashlights, my daughter saw a boy who had exposed himself. He began hitting her with his fist and feet on her face, head, and body. Drawing her close, he grabbed her by the hair and offered my underage daughter to try, touching her with his penis. Hitting her in the face again, he called her a dog and ordered her not to resist. Delivering increasingly powerful blows, he penetrated the mouth of a minor child! When the little girl tried to squirm away, he began to threaten that if she »fussed,« he would finish right there. This boy, while continuing to hit her, threatened my daughter not to dare tell anyone, or they would kill her mother.»

This horrifying message appeared in chat groups of Moscow«s Troitsky District in March 2025. The post also included a video: a thin teenage girl describing the violence and bullying she said she endured at a school in Kommunarka. According to the girl, she subsequently fell into depression and was hospitalized with exhaustion, and the school did everything to hush up the incident.

But there is another version of events. According to the parents of the girl«s former classmates, there was no bullying; it was fabricated by the girl and her mother, who then flooded law enforcement with complaints to discredit the school and its students. The parents say their children regularly receive threats related to the case, and a whole campaign has been launched against them online.

MSK1.RU tells the story of how a quarrel between two schoolgirls in New Moscow escalated into a district-wide confrontation that has children afraid to go outside.

«If You Don»t Stand Out, Nobody Cares«

In 2023, Alina«s family moved from the Moscow suburbs to Kommunarka and settled in one of the local neighborhoods. Standard comfort-class high-rises have sprung up next to Butovsky Forest Park. Just 10 years ago, this was empty land, and now it»s dominated by apartment blocks. In the narrow alleys, mothers walk with their children, and teenagers out on break loiter about. The trendy play hubs are crowded at all hours: during the day, toddlers play there, and in the evening, young people gather to hang out late.

The area has several schools, some located right in the residential complex or adjacent to it. They«re a 15–20 minute walk from each other. According to one student, Alina»s school is known for its pre-professional classes, where students can study subjects in depth and prepare intensively for the Unified State Exam. For this reason, many residents try to get their children into that particular school.

Even in summer, you can find teenagers near the square in front of the school. Some kick a ball around, while others pass the time watching TikTok videos. Hopscotch grids are chalked on the asphalt, with an inviting «Jump!» written nearby. The students consider the school a pleasant place, but not without its problems.

«Bullying is everywhere. But all the cases I remember were due to a person»s rude behavior. I don«t justify bullying, but some people are the first to start doing crazy things. If you don»t stand out in any way, then globally no one cares about you,« one schoolgirl muses in conversation with MSK1.RU.

Alina, however, stood out... If you open the girl«s social media page now, you see a young woman with model-like measurements of »90–60–90«: a thin waist, fragile shoulders, and long legs. But it wasn»t always so. On September 1, 2023, Alina started the sixth grade. According to the family«s lawyer and the girl»s mother, the new student was met coldly by her classmates.

«She didn»t appeal to the supposedly popular girls in the class. The instigators created a chat and named it «Chat for bullying.» Later we saw photos of our daughter from September 1 in it. So they started mocking her right away. The trigger for the insults was our daughter«s excess weight. Then it turned out our surname was wrong too; they called her »khokhlyatskaya« [a derogatory term for Ukrainian]. And the perfume was wrong, and the clothes were wrong,» the girl«s mother tells MSK1.RU.

«This Herd Mentality Is Supported by Children»

According to the lawyer, at first Alina didn«t tell her mother about the teasing from her peers and tried to deal with the bullying on her own. The girl even sought help from the school psychologist, but somehow her peers found out about her worries. The bullying escalated when a »fan account« dedicated to the girl appeared on TikTok. The videos discussed Alina»s appearance, behavior, and family. But worse still, a profile for a dating service was posted in a Telegram public channel in the teenager«s name.

«Hi there, boys. I»m looking for casual relationships. Yes, I«m 14, but I»m not a virgin anymore, so anything«s possible with you. Also, if you buy me food, I can give it to you for free. I won»t judge you on looks. Well, anyway, I«m waiting for you, my love,» read the message, to which a photo of the girl was attached.

According to the lawyer, the culmination came at the end of 2023 when the girl was locked in the gym locker room. There, in the presence of a dozen students, a senior student allegedly tried to assault Alina — the children filmed the incident on video. According to the lawyer and the girl«s mother, a teacher who reacted to the loud music and entered the gym prevented the act from being completed.

According to MSK1.RU, a long time after the incident, the girl«s family contacted law enforcement, but no criminal case was ever opened. Neither the lawyer and the girl»s mother, nor her former classmates, turned out to have that video of the incident.

As the lawyer explains, at the time Olesya was not aware of the scale of the abuse against her daughter, particularly the attempted rape. The mother only asked the homeroom teacher to protect Alina from the mockery. But, according to Arkhiptsev, this had no effect, and the teacher later deleted the correspondence. In 2024, Olesya again contacted the school administration.

«After that, the administration had a disciplinary talk, where the bullying instigator approached Alina and said, »Sorry, I won«t do it anymore.» They recorded the fact of the apology, and that was it. After a while, the bullying continued. The conflict participants were asked not to air their dirty laundry in public,« says Arkhiptsev.

According to Olesya, her intervention only emboldened the teenagers: the more the family complained, the stronger and more persistent the bullying became. In spring 2024, Olesya noticed something wrong with her daughter«s behavior: Alina became nervous, and strange messages constantly came to her phone. After questioning, the girl admitted that adult men were calling and writing to her — those who had responded to the profile previously posted in her name. Alina»s mother suspects that one of the instigators of the school conflict left her daughter«s contacts. During checks by the school and law enforcement, this information was not confirmed.

«Throughout the whole time, my daughter was intimidated, they tried to make her kneel, forced her to apologize for something she was supposedly guilty of. Often it happened at school. Many teachers were witnesses, but there was zero reaction — they pretended not to see or hear,» says Olesya.

In May 2024, Olesya contacted the Juvenile Affairs Unit (PDN) to hold accountable the girl who might have spread Alina«s number in dating forums. But, according to the lawyer, »they never managed to achieve justice.«

«The inspector threatened to put both girls on the register — the bully and the victim — equating the spread of personal data and the organization of bullying with the victim supposedly calling the offender a fool,» says Arkhiptsev.

In the seventh grade, students are assigned to different tracks. That«s how Alina ended up in a cadet class. According to her mother, her daughter got there by mistake, but no one argued, since the girl was already attending school less actively anyway. Alina didn»t settle into the new class either.

«Over time, these children joined in the bullying,» the girl«s mother tells MSK1.RU. »The situation at school became such that if anyone went against the crowd, they would be bullied too. This herd mentality is supported by the children.«

According to Olesya, the children wrote to Alina«s friends at other schools and continued to insult her online. In local anonymous teen chats, the girl was repeatedly called »queen of blowjobs« and »slut,« recalling the erotic profile posted in her name.

The girl«s lawyer insists that the constant pressure and bullying about her excess weight led Alina to refuse food. She hid her attempts to lose weight from her mother: when she left for work, Alina would throw away her breakfast, and if she did eat, she would induce vomiting. It got to the point where in November 2024, Alina was urgently hospitalized with exhaustion.

«Because of what happened, Alina developed an eating disorder that led to anorexia. Due to stress, she lost 35 kilograms (77 lbs),» lawyer Alexander Arkhiptsev tells MSK1.RU.

According to Olesya, after her hospitalization, Alina practically stopped attending school: the girl wasn«t left alone. She had to switch to a combination of in-person and distance learning. But even then, according to her family»s version, the bullying didn«t stop.

«She Attacked and Pulled the Girls» Hair«

On March 25, 2025, a skirmish took place in the stairwell of the building where the girl lives. According to the lawyer, peers were chasing Alina, and she ran into the entrance in fear.

«Her mother saw this and went out to meet her daughter with her sister and her father. Olesya is an emotional person, but not an evil one. Like any mother whose child is being hurt, she tried to protect her daughter. The schoolgirls sitting in the stairwell provoked Olesya, and she started reaching toward one of them,» Arkhiptsev explains to MSK1.RU. «Olesya and her relatives were sprayed with pepper spray. Olesya»s father and Alina«s grandfather is a disabled person with a serious respiratory disease. It»s unknown how this stunt could have ended for him.«

According to the lawyer, the blinded relatives of Alina were beaten: when they came to their senses, they found numerous bruises on their bodies.

«Alina was threatened to remember and be afraid, otherwise she, like her mother, would be sprayed with pepper spray. The cadets from Alina»s class themselves let it slip that the attack was planned. And after the attack, one boy from that group came up to my daughter and said, «What have you done, we warned you,»« Olesya recounts to MSK1.RU.

MSK1.RU obtained a recording from the CCTV cameras in the stairwell. The footage shows Olesya arguing with the girls sitting on the floor, then grabbing one by her jacket. After the verbal exchange, as the woman raises her hand, one of the girls sprays pepper spray. A mother of Alina«s former classmate told the editorial office her version of events.

«Olesya has already been held liable for battery, that is, an administrative offense. This has been proven in court. She attacked the children in the stairwell, pulled a girl»s hair, beat her. She thought the children weren«t just sitting in the stairwell but were watching her. Because of this, we are very concerned for the safety of our children,» Yulianna stated to MSK1.RU.

Olesya herself also refused to comment on the video.

«Facts of Bullying Were Not Recorded»

In November 2025, lawyers filed a lawsuit on behalf of Alina against the school. They intended to prove the fact of bullying, hold the school«s staff and administration accountable for inaction, and seek compensation. In December of the same year, Olesya filed a request to withdraw her daughter from the school.

As the girl«s lawyer told MSK1.RU, after what she went through, his client visited a psychologist: at one of the sessions, the girl confessed what was done to her in the locker room.

«Realizing the seriousness of the situation, the specialist told her mother about it. For a person who has gone through such a terrible event, Alina is holding up quite well. But even after two and a half years, she sleeps poorly, constantly having nightmares about that boy from the locker room,» he explains.

In March 2026, the scandal at the school in Kommunarka went public. Ahead of the court hearings on the case, the lawyers and Alina«s mother began contacting the media to draw attention to the problem. Olesya accused the students of raping and bullying her daughter, publishing screenshots of chats in which Alina is verbally abused by her peers.

After the story gained resonance, the school administration published a response post stating that «facts of bullying against the student were not recorded.»

«In January 2025, the student»s mother complained for the first time about a conflict between her daughter and her classmates. Immediately after that, we organized meetings with the students and their parents, and held conversations with the participation of the homeroom teacher and the social pedagogue. The parties were able to discuss the situation in person and reached a reconciliation. Throughout the school year, specialists from the psychological and pedagogical service continued to monitor the atmosphere in the class during lessons and breaks,« the message read.

In the summer of 2025, Alina«s family tried to remove videos about the girl from social networks. They filed a lawsuit for the protection of honor and dignity against TikTok Rus LLC. But the Zamoskvoretsky District Court did not satisfy it and returned it to the plaintiff.

«Walk and Look Over Your Shoulder»

At the same time, parents of the students filed counter-complaints with the police. In them, they accused Olesya of spreading slander and psychological pressure on their children. According to Yulianna, the mother of Alina«s former classmate, the situation is not as it was presented by the lawyers and the girl»s mother in the media.

«When Alina came to our cadet class, we had heard about many conflict situations,» Yulianna explains to MSK1.RU. «At first, the class treated this girl quite warmly: no one bullied or harassed her. My daughter sent her what was assigned in class because Alina was often sick. When Alina felt unwell, my daughter gave her ammonia wipes to revive her. And Alina wasn»t even fat at that time, so there was no reason to humiliate her for her weight.«

From Yulianna«s perspective, it seemed that Alina was constantly waiting for some kind of trick, an excuse to start a scandal. The woman calls the girl herself a »great provocateur.« In her opinion, it was Alina who started the conflicts.

«If a message is written in the chat, she immediately replies, then her mother joins the dialogue with insults and profanity. It got to the point where Olesya, without hesitation, threatened children with rape and wrote, »Walk and look over your shoulder,«» Yulianna tells MSK1.RU.

The editorial office was provided with audio recordings in which, according to the parents, Olesya calls one of the students a «degenerate,» and in another recording states that his «parents should have been sterilized so they wouldn»t reproduce.« Alina»s mother refused to comment on these audio recordings.

A similar remark appears under a post in one of the district«s teen groups. Part of the comments under the post has been deleted, so it»s impossible to determine exactly how the argument started and whether the children provoked Alina«s mother. Olesya herself says she was only defending her daughter and couldn»t have known in advance who she was writing to. And to all accusations of insults, she replies: «Let them prove they received them personally from me.»

«Have you heard the expression »As the twig is bent, the tree is inclined«? That»s how they«ve shown themselves in a bad light. And I couldn»t care less about those freaks who touch my daughter,« Olesya stated in a conversation with MSK1.RU. »Now the parents of these scumbags will do everything to cover for them. They«d better think about the problem of raising their vermin. I can»t call them children.«

When asked by the correspondent why she chose to resolve the conflict not with the parents but with the children in an anonymous group, Olesya did not answer.

«Of all the children involved, only two parents fulfilled their duty. One father apologized to Alina and promised that his daughter would forget about my daughter once and for all. Otherwise, he himself would break her legs. Now that girl walks around and turns away when she sees my daughter. Another father didn»t apologize, but he really laid into his son,« Olesya shared with MSK1.RU.

According to parent Yulianna, the school responded to the facts of bullying and Olesya was even summoned to the institution, but she refused to communicate with the administration and other students« parents.

Despite the contradictions, all parties to the conflict acknowledge that if the bullying and rape really did happen, the guilty parties must be punished. According to Yulianna, she is all for the case being investigated transparently and honestly.

«Rape is a very serious matter. If it happened, I would want the guilty to be punished. But some facts in this case baffle me. Why did the mother only file this statement a year later? If the girl was beaten at school, as Olesya and Alina claim, why didn»t the mother notice the marks?« she asks.

«Mom, I Was Afraid to Move»

According to the students« parents, they have already filed statements with the prosecutor»s office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Investigative Committee. Twelve parents from the last class Alina attended signed an open appeal. The adults do not believe their children could have bullied the girl: they say the bullying started before them, and the cadets were only made scapegoats in the media that the girl«s side contacted. The reason for the appeal was a post in an anonymous Telegram channel.

«The authors of the publication directly stated that the cadets are rapists, and these rapists are taught courage by none other than six Heroes of Russia who visited the school for a courage lesson. The work to discredit the army and the cadet movement is in full swing,» they write indignantly in their statement to the prosecutor«s office.

Despite all this, Olesya still considers her daughter«s former classmate Elizaveta to be the main instigator of the bullying. An MSK1.RU correspondent met with the girl»s mother. In the first few minutes, the woman admitted that over these two years of knowing Alina and her mother, their family has been through so much. According to Inna, there was no bullying; her daughter simply refused to be friends with Alina, who took it badly.

«Alina showed interest in my daughter, wrote to her every week. The communication was quite intrusive, so my daughter answered neutrally. This went on until February, and finally Lisa told Alina, »Listen, we can communicate as classmates, but I already have close friends.« From that moment on, at school, the girls, at Alina»s instigation, started some kind of rivalry,« Inna recalls to MSK1.RU.

According to Inna, at first the competition manifested itself in academic matters: who would answer first in class or turn in their work first. But then insults came into play.

«Alina could stand up and publicly call my daughter ugly. Lisa responded by distancing herself. In early May, the girls had a correspondence in which my daughter asked [Alina] to leave her friend alone. Alina refused and told my daughter to get lost. A verbal altercation ensued, in which Olesya intervened with threats,» Inna tells MSK1.RU. «Lisa hadn»t even made it home from school when Olesya called me screaming and started insulting me and my daughter.«

Inna played a voice message that Olesya sent to Lisa from Alina«s account in May 2024. The audio blares: »Hey, you sheep, I haven«t threatened you yet. You got me? You stupid sheep! If you call or write here one more time, I»ll rip your legs off along with your parents«. You got me, you underdeveloped girl?»

«In June we got a call from the police: Olesya and Alina accused my daughter of allegedly bullying, insulting, spreading her phone number on intimate services websites, writing it on the wall of the playground, forcing her to smoke an e-cigarette by shoving it in her mouth. The statement named not only us but five or seven other people,» Inna shares with MSK1.RU.

According to Lisa«s mother, during the confrontation hearing, the accusations were not confirmed: Alina and Olesya were confused in their testimony, and the MIA officers found no grounds to place her daughter on the register.

The woman recalls that after this, the police officers suggested she file a complaint against Olesya for numerous insults and threats. But Inna refused, deciding that the conflict was over and they wouldn«t hear from Alina»s family again. In September 2024, Lisa transferred to another school building. But in August, Inna and her daughter were again summoned to the PDN because Olesya had filed a new statement.

According to Inna, her daughter was also accused of posting offensive messages in the district teen chat and those infamous videos on the «fan account.»

«When the rape story came to light, Alina first accused some senior student, then changed her testimony and claimed it was her former classmate,» Inna explains to MSK1.RU. «Alina was always taller than the other children in the class. During the period when the rape supposedly occurred, this boy barely reached her shoulder. He would have needed superhuman effort to force her to her knees and assault her. As soon as the investigation began, his parents were in shock. They intend to get to the bottom of everything and hold Olesya accountable for giving false testimony and slander.»

In a post in the anonymous public page that Olesya contacted hoping for publicity, it was claimed that Lisa was putting up indecent flyers about another schoolgirl around the district. According to Inna, the girls drew the poster together, and it also contains Lisa«s name. But this information is not indicated in the publication — it»s all from Olesya«s words. Besides the slander, the parents are also concerned that many publications contain the personal data of their minor children.

«The post had everything: last name, first name, school number of the children named in the statement, and at the end — a call: »I ask you to find and punish,«» Inna says. «In winter, the window in Lisa»s room was pelted with ice and snow. My daughter is regularly sent posts in which she is repeatedly accused of things she didn«t do.»

As Inna explains, it«s not Alina who»s being bullied, but her daughter. In the second year of the conflict, Lisa«s nerves began to fray.

«I was forced to ask Lisa»s friends to walk her home, and sometimes her dad picks her up. Even the stairwell has become unsafe. In May, my younger child called me saying two people in balaclavas were trying to break down our door, asking Lisa not to come home yet. And recently, someone deliberately threw a large apple at our door. The crash was terrible,« Inna shares with MSK1.RU.

Went to a Protest at the Moscow Government

In April 2026, Alina faced another problem — they couldn«t place her in a school. After her mother withdrew her documents in December 2025, Alina was on home schooling.

But on the eve of the hearings on the lawsuit filed against the school, the Kommunarka district administration sent a letter to Alina«s mother stating that if the girl did not start attending an educational institution, Olesya could face administrative liability for failing to fulfill her parental duties. Then Alina staged a protest near other schools in the district and sought media attention. Later, the girl made her way to the Department of Education building and the Moscow government.

«When Alina»s mother spoke with the principals, they agreed to take the girl in. Then, remotely, they sent rejections via the «Gosuslugi» portal,« Alexander Arkhiptsev told MSK1.RU. »Alina will sit at a desk right on the street — regardless of the weather. And she will study outdoors until her rights guaranteed by the Constitution are restored.«

According to the lawyer, his client was told there were no places in the schools. But, in his opinion, school principals were afraid of a scandal. The Department of Education, meanwhile, stated that no one had refused the girl, and her mother was invited to one of the schools in New Moscow to discuss the details. After the publicity, the girl was eventually enrolled in an educational institution.

A Lost Case or a Massive Campaign to Conceal the Facts?

In April 2026, hearings began in court on Alina«s lawsuit against the school. The case was won, which the lawyer was quick to announce on social media.

The Shcherbinsky District Court considered the claim for compensation for moral damages; the demands were partially satisfied: Alina was awarded a sum of several tens of thousands of rubles. Two days later, the Moscow Department of Education filed an appeal — accordingly, the decision has not entered into force, and the litigation will continue.

Later, the Investigative Committee for the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky Administrative Okrugs opened a criminal case on the fact of possible negligence and inaction by school officials, including the failure to resolve conflicts between students that led to unlawful actions against the schoolgirl (Part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Investigators also opened a criminal case under the article on hooliganism committed by a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code). Under the first article, violators face up to three months« arrest; under the second, up to seven years in prison.

In addition, the prosecutor«s office identified violations of legal requirements in the activities of the Kommunarsky District Police Department and the Commission on Minors» Affairs and Protection of Their Rights, and submitted representations.

«School Bullying Is a Rabbit Hole»

Leonid Armer, director of the «Center for the Protection and Development of the Individual,» has been fighting cybercrimes against young people for over 20 years. Together with colleagues and in cooperation with law enforcement, he catches drug dealers, fraudsters, pedophiles, and curators of suicide games, including «Blue Whale,» online. According to the expert, Alina«s story is just a drop in the ocean, and bullying is a systemic problem inextricably linked to the existence of society; the idea of its complete eradication sounds utopian.

«The causes of bullying lie not only in the victim but also in the psychology of the aggressors, the indifference of bystanders, and the characteristics of the group itself. This phenomenon has been described at all stages of human development and has existed and will always exist in educational institutions,» he believes.

As the expert notes, an aggressor may provoke bullying to assert themselves. Personal trauma can push a teenager to such behavior: past experiences of violence, lack of attention in the family, or, conversely, overprotection.

«It»s simple: the aggressor copies the parents« behavior model or vents accumulated anger on those who cannot fight back. Another reason could be a lack of empathy and an inability to resolve conflicts peacefully. In many groups, there is a child or teenager who enjoys this model of behavior and the »subjugation« of the world,» Armer explains.

According to the expert, people are often bullied because of their differences: appearance, health conditions, or hobbies. This otherness attracts attention and causes various reactions. Low self-esteem and a lack of psychological defense skills in the victim can worsen the situation. Often, the reactions the aggressor sees to their provocations become an additional trigger.

«The range of markers by which you can tell a child is being bullied is wide. But the question becomes relevant: how much do parents care about the child, and what do they notice? The most obvious signs are bruises, scratches, torn clothes. In addition, bullying victims may experience sudden mood swings, anxiety, withdrawal, or tearfulness,» the director of the «Center for the Protection and Development of the Individual» shares with MSK1.RU.

As Armer notes, the consequences of bullying can also manifest at the psychosomatic level — in the form of pain, sudden loss of appetite, or frequent colds. Victims often have sleep problems.

«As for other external causes, a child may refuse to attend school or start skipping classes. Another marker is decreased concentration in class and a drop in academic performance,» the expert lists. «The main thing is not to ignore the information received from the child and not to let everything take its course — saying, »figure it out yourself.«»

For parents who have learned about their child being bullied, the expert recommends first understanding the situation and raising the question with the school — discussing the problem with the homeroom teacher and psychologist. And, if necessary, seek legal assistance and contact the juvenile affairs inspector at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Teenagers often hide their interests and online activities from their parents. Because of this, some parents miss the moment when their child is in danger. This concerns not only bullying but also destructive groups where students are drawn into train surfing and deadly games, fraudsters who recruit children to set fire to relay cabinets and commit other crimes, and pedophiles who swarm the internet. According to Leonid Armer, there is no panacea for this. In adolescence, a child already has a private space, and intruding on it is risky: they may become even more withdrawn.

«Most children hide something from their parents — that was, is, and will be. The foundation should be well-established relationships in which the child is not afraid to talk about a situation if it happens. They shouldn»t be afraid of punishment, beatings, or having their phone taken away,« the expert explains.

According to Alexander Arkhiptsev, it«s important to monitor the problem of bullying among children and teenagers, otherwise it can lead to irreparable consequences.

«This is a crime; it cannot be justified. But the psychological damage must come from somewhere,» he explains. «I»d like to remind parents that they need to love their children. It«s important to have a trusting relationship with them so that at the right moment you can understand that something is wrong. And children should not be afraid to tell their parents that they feel bad. There»s no need to hush up the problem, because while it happens, people feel unpunished.«
