School No. 153, which was attacked by an 8th-grade girl carrying gasoline and a hammer, had already received a warning. This was reported by the Interregional Center for Children«s Rights (ICCR).
«The Regional Ministry of Education had already issued a warning to the administration of the school «Pokrovsky Complex» for ignoring bullying — after a video showing a second-grader beating a peer while a teacher calmly watched from the side,» the center clarified.
This refers to an incident that occurred in December. The student had been systematically bullied for a year, which led to aggressive behavior. As a result, a complaint was filed with the Interregional Center for Children«s Rights, but experts determined that he was not the aggressor but the victim. Meanwhile, the behavior of the bullies was ignored by school staff. Consequently, the Ministry of Education issued a warning to the educational institution.
The girl who attacked the school, according to her classmates, was not bullied by anyone.
«No one touched her at all; she was normal in elementary school. But now she stopped communicating with everyone, sat alone, and that«s it,» one of the teenagers told NGS24.RU.
Nevertheless, as investigators said, three criminal cases have been opened: for attempted murder, for negligence by prevention authorities, and for unsafe security services.
All information about the incident at the Pokrovsky Complex is being collected by NGS24.RU in a single story and online broadcast.
