Samara Region Faces Missile Danger

Early Tuesday morning, July 21, sirens sounded in Samara Oblast. Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev reported this on his channel on MAX.
«Attention. Missile danger in Samara Oblast! Take shelter in rooms without windows with solid walls. Do not approach windows. If you are outside or in transport, head to the nearest shelter or other safe place. Emergency services phone: 112,» the head of the region wrote.
The mayor of Samara also reported the missile danger. Ivan Noskov reminded of the rules of conduct if you can reach the nearest shelter:
- Close windows tightly;
- Turn off gas, water, and electricity;
- Take essential items: documents, mobile phone, money, bank cards;
- Warn neighbors in case they did not hear the signal;
- Help the sick, children, disabled, and elderly;
- Without using the elevator, proceed to the shelter.
Representatives of Rosaviatsiya (Federal Air Transport Agency) introduced flight restrictions at Kurumoch Airport. In addition to Samara Oblast, airspace is closed over Ulyanovsk, Volgograd, Saratov, and Gelendzhik.
The last time a missile danger was declared in the region was on the morning of Friday, July 17. Because of this, public transport in the regional capital temporarily stopped. At Kurumoch, departure and arrival of 92 flights were delayed. The all-clear for the missile danger was announced about 40 minutes later.
