Russian siblings vanish in Thailand after sending alert
The missing teenager is a minor.
Two Russian siblings from Tyumen Oblast have gone missing in the resort town of Pattaya, Thailand. They left home early in the morning and stopped responding. According to their mother, her daughter may have been followed.
The family has lived in Thailand for seven years — Zarina Nazimova moved there with her children in 2018. As reported by Komsomolskaya Pravda, the incident occurred on the night of 24–25 July. Around 4 a.m., 22-year-old Diana and her 17-year-old brother Daniil (name changed) left home on a motorcycle without telling their mother. Twenty minutes later, their GPS tracker recorded a point 200 meters from the house, after which it stopped updating.
Before the mysterious disappearance, Diana managed to send her mother an alarming message that began with the word “URGENT!” In it, she said someone may have been tracking her. It turned out her smartphone had detected an unfamiliar Bluetooth tracker nearby. After that, the siblings stopped responding.
Thai police launched a search and opened an investigation into their disappearance. Relatives and volunteers began combing the area, calling hospitals, and reviewing CCTV footage along their likely route.
