“This is Lera, Kolya«s wife. Information came in that Kolya allegedly uses drugs, and law enforcement officers took him near the hotel; at the moment he is being taken for a medical examination,” Valeria explained. “The situation is ‘no comment» — we all know that Kolya is clean.”

Lida is a Russian rapper, pop-rave and hip-hop musician. The artist is 31 years old and regularly sells out venues in Moscow and other Russian cities. He is also known as a streamer on the Twitch platform. He took his pseudonym in honor of his grandmother, whose name was Lida.

GSPD — another rapper and a friend of Lida — also commented on the situation. He stressed that Lida plays sports and stands for “the right values,” and called all the accusations a “provocation.”

“This is an obvious provocation against a person who shows his workouts on TG every day and, naturally, has nothing to do with drugs. I know from my own experience how unpleasant this is, because in 2019 they tried to smear me in exactly the same way and dragged me to medical examinations in various cities,” GSPD shared.

Meanwhile, the country is discussing news about Kanye West — the rapper decided to give two concerts in Russia. All tickets for them sold out in half an hour. Deputies soon wanted to ban these shows, while Russians, in the meantime, are making memes about the American.
