Polymer production fire in Vsevolozhsk extinguished by morning
The area of the fire at a polymer production facility in Vsevolozhsk reached 5,900 square meters. The open flame was extinguished by 3:20 a.m. on July 21.

A report of the fire was received by rescuers around midnight. The fire broke out at the address: Vsevolozhsky Prospekt, building 117, building 1. Due to strong winds, fighting the fire over an area of nearly 6,000 square meters was difficult.
Emergency crews deployed over 50 personnel and 20 units to fight the polymer plant fire.
More than 50 emergency service personnel and over 20 units of specialized equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences.
The open flame was extinguished by 03:20 on July 21, reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) of the Leningrad Region.
According to open sources, the building at the indicated address houses the enterprises «Terra-Plast», «Miksplast», and the «Center for Radiation Technologies». Witnesses clarified that the source of the fire was in a neighboring one-story structure without an official address, which was used as a warehouse.
