The Krasnodar police department reported that officers have launched an investigation after a social media post about gasoline theft from a parked truck. The post, which prompted the police response, states that an unidentified group siphons fuel at night. They insert hoses into tanks, drain gas into bottles, and then flee.
One such incident was captured on a surveillance camera on Prigorodnaya Street.
«Krasnodar police are identifying the individuals whose actions were captured on camera,» the department«s statement said.
Police have launched a preliminary inquiry.
