Police and rescuers save schoolboy from Vladivostok building ledge
Emergency personnel and law enforcement worked with civilians to safely retrieve the minor from the building«s edge.
A frightening incident occurred on Ocean Avenue in Vladivostok on the afternoon of January 21. Eyewitnesses noticed a schoolboy on the edge of a multi-story building, and emergency service workers arrived at the scene, according to the press service of the Primorye Regional Police Department.
A random female eyewitness called the police after seeing that the child was on the edge. She reported that he was behaving incoherently and suspiciously. As a result, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MCHS) and law enforcement officers, together with citizens, conducted a rescue operation and managed to remove the schoolboy, then handed him over to ambulance staff.
Police are now conducting an investigation and establishing the identity of the minor, as well as the circumstances of the incident.
On December 8, 2025, we reported that a man died after falling from a window of a multi-story building on Green Boulevard. Police and an ambulance were at the scene, and the ambulance confirmed death. The man was found without clothes, fell several meters from the building, which led neighbors to suspect criminal involvement in this story. But this information has not yet been confirmed or refuted.
