People trapped after truck crash near Tikhvin
In Tikhvin District, a passenger car collided with two trucks. As a result, people were trapped inside the damaged vehicles.

On 4 February at approximately 10:30 on the 433rd kilometer of the Vologda — Tikhvin — R-21 Kola highway in Tikhvin District, a serious accident occurred.
According to preliminary data, the 46-year-old driver of a Renault Duster, traveling from Tikhvin towards Novaya Ladoga, pulled into the oncoming lane while attempting to overtake. There he collided with a FAW truck driven by a 45-year-old man.
As a result of the impact, the FAW truck collided with another truck, a DAF. Behind the wheel of the DAF was a 31-year-old driver.
After the head-on collision between the car and the truck, people were trapped inside the damaged vehicles. Rescuers were needed to free them.
As it became known, the driver of the Renault Duster died at the scene of the accident.
