Noise dispute on Plesetskaya Street leads to shooting
In St. Petersburg, a domestic dispute on Plesetskaya Street ended with the use of an air weapon. As a result, one participant sustained an eye injury.

Law enforcement agencies in the Primorsky District are investigating the circumstances of the conflict that occurred on Plesetskaya Street. The reason for the quarrel was nighttime noise.
As reported on February 5 by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region (GU MVD), on Tuesday around midnight, police received a call about a fight at 20 Plesetskaya Street. On the 20th floor, officers found five people: four men aged 22 to 47 and a 35-year-old woman. All were taken to the station to clarify the circumstances.
During the investigation, it was established that a 36-year-old man and a 22-year-old man got into a conflict on the landing. The younger participant took out an air pistol and fired a shot into his opponent«s eye. The victim required medical assistance.
Four of those taken to the station were placed in a special detention facility. At present, no criminal case has been opened.
