Nine Tyumen residents die in special operation

Nine residents of Tyumen Oblast died in the special military operation. Officials provided information about them.
Alexander Prokopyev, a driver at the Vikulovo branch of the Tyumen Aviation Base, died during the SVO. The regional Department of Forestry reported this.
“Alexander Vladimirovich worked at the Tyumen Aviation Base since January 2023, first as a forest ranger and then as a driver,” they said. In May 2025, Prokopyev went to the special operation zone under contract.
In the Abatsky District, state awards were presented to the relatives of servicemen who died in the SVO. The local administration reported this. They named the deceased: Alexander Antonov, Valentin Glebov, Alexander Zaitsev, Alexey Malyshev, Dmitry Morozov, Nikolai Toropov.
Sergey Kalistratov, a resident of the Nizhnetavdinsky District, died in the special operation. He decided to serve in the Russian Armed Forces under contract in October 2025 and died on November 19. He was 44 years old. The administration of the Nizhnetavdinsky District reported this.
Alexander Polovinko died in the SVO. He was 50 years old. According to the administration of the Nizhnetavdinsky District, Polovinko was born in Kazakhstan, studied at Velizhanskaya Secondary School, and lived in the Republic of Moldova, in the village of Iska (Nizhnetavdinsky District). In early December 2025, he decided to serve in the Russian Armed Forces under contract and died on January 7.
