Nine Tyumen Region Residents Killed in SVO

Details emerged on nine residents of the Tyumen region who died in the special military operation.

Authorities of the Tyumen region have reported the deaths of nine local residents during the special military operation.
According to the regional forestry department, among the deceased is Alexander Prokopyev, a driver of the Vikulovsky branch of the Tyumen Aviation Base. «Alexander Vladimirovich worked at the Tyumen Aviation Base since January 2023: first as a forester, then as a driver,» the department noted. In May 2025, he went to the combat zone under contract.
In the Abatsky district, a ceremony was held to present state awards to the families of six servicemen killed in the SVO. The district administration released their names:
- Alexander Antonov
- Valentin Glebov
- Alexander Zaitsev
- Alexei Malyshev
- Dmitry Morozov
- Nikolai Toropov
Sergei Kalistratov, a resident of the Nizhnaya Tavda district, died on November 19. He was 44 years old. As reported by the district administration, he decided to serve under contract in the Russian Armed Forces in October 2025.
Another resident of the Nizhnaya Tavda district, Alexander Polovinko, died on January 7 at the age of 50. According to the administration, he was born in Kazakhstan, studied at Velizhanskaya Secondary School, and lived in the village of Iska. Polovinko decided to serve under contract at the beginning of December 2025.
