Neighbor whips one-year-old girl with leash in Yekaterinburg attack
On Molotoboytsev Street in Yekaterinburg, a neighbor attacked a family with two children. The parents were returning home from a playground with their eight-year-old son and one-year-old daughter. The woman was walking towards them with a dog. According to the victims, she suddenly attacked them with a leash.
«First she yelled obscenities, then started hitting my husband, but somehow kept hitting my daughter, even though my husband tried to shield the child from her, but she hit her in the face and head,» said the mother of the injured girl. «I was also worried that the dachshund wouldn«t attack my son. He is very afraid of dogs. He sat in the snow and curled up into a ball, he was so scared.»
The couple says that the neighbor constantly harasses them and demands that they move out of the apartment, which the family has lived in for 12 years.
«The reason for the attack is that my husband looks like a churka (a derogatory term for people from the Caucasus). And she wants us to move. Meanwhile, my husband is Russian, his name is Nikita, and the apartment is in our ownership,» said the victim Yekaterina. «Before this, she attacked another family, there she said that the man was a drug dealer. Then she switched to us.»
Doctors at the 9th Hospital recorded soft tissue swelling in the beaten toddler. The girl«s parents contacted the police.
«The report has been accepted at Police Department No. 13. The woman«s identity has been established. The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident. Based on the results of the inquiry, a justified decision will be made,» said the press group of the Yekaterinburg UMVD (Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs).
