A teenage girl from Ufa attacked two sisters with a knife
The girls injured by a 16-year-old girl in a flat in Ufa are still in intensive care. Their condition turned out to be more serious than initially thought. Their mother told Chastny Reportage that doctors are doing everything possible to save and restore her daughters« health.
The elder of the sisters« right arm is currently not working. Neurosurgeons are making every effort to restore its function.
«From the doctors — total control,» the girls« mother said. «Every day they are visited by physicians of various specialties. The medics not only treat us but also support all of us.»
Initially, doctors feared that the elder daughter might lose the ability to speak because of knife-damaged ligaments. Fortunately, that prognosis was not confirmed.
«My throat and stomach hurt when I talk,» the girl says with difficulty.
The mother said Ufa doctors are in contact with their Moscow colleagues. Specialists from the capital insist that one of the injured girls be transferred to the best Moscow clinic. However, the mother has decided to stay in Ufa.
«We will undergo treatment in Ufa and will not separate the sisters,» she says. «Moreover, we are told the situation is being monitored by the health minister himself.»
The younger of the sisters is in a severe post-traumatic state. Psychologists have already begun working with her. The girls« brother, who witnessed the bloody attack, also needs help from psychologists.
Recall that a 16-year-old girl inflicted knife wounds on a peer and her 9-year-old sister during a conflict. It turned out there was no conflict at all — the accused pretended she needed moral support and asked to come for a visit — and there she inflicted severe injuries.
