Mobile heating points deployed in Karabash after pipeline rupture

The location of the rupture that left residents of two districts in Karabash without heating and hot water has been localized. Refilling of the heating system is scheduled to begin at noon. In addition to emergency utility crews, the Karabashmed plant has joined the effort to eliminate the consequences.
«The plant»s employees are ready to provide any necessary assistance,« Karabash Mayor Pavel Titov assured. »In the near future, plant workers will begin thawing a local section of the network leading to the police station using blowtorches. Significant forces have been deployed to deal with the emergency: three repair crews, five pieces of special equipment, EMERCOM employees, and the RMC Poisk emergency rescue unit, which will set up mobile inflatable modules on Karabash«s main square. These are full-fledged heating and meal points equipped with heat guns and diesel generators.»
There are also two stationary heating points in the city, which have been opened on the premises of schools No. 2 and No. 4.
«The mayor»s office is doing everything possible to restore heating as soon as possible. The situation is under special control of the city administration«s leadership,» the press service of the Karabash administration emphasized.
Recall that complaints about the shutdown of heating and hot water began the day before. In the morning, the system was already attempted to be restarted after repairs, but a rupture occurred. Two districts — more than 30 residential buildings — were left without heat.
