Missing Usoltsev Family Not Abroad, Officials Say
The Usoltsev family, including their five-year-old daughter, went missing during a hike.
The missing Usoltsev family could not have left the country, the press service of the Investigative Committee told NGS24.RU.
«During the investigation, no information has been obtained that they left the Russian Federation,» the committee told the correspondent.
This week, a version emerged that the Usoltsevs might be in Spain. The basis was provided by Irina Usoltseva«s son Danil Batalov on the program »Let Them Talk« on February 3. He said someone tried to contact him from Spain using a disposable number. However, Batalov himself thinks it was just a number confirmation after he changed his phone. He did not link this story to the disappearance of his relatives.
However, some participants of the program suggested that Irina Usoltseva called him, supposedly to hear her son«s voice.
On September 28, Sergei and Irina Usoltseva and their five-year-old daughter went on a hike in the Partizansky district and did not return. The primary version of what happened is an accident.
