Man's Body Found Near Boat Station in Southern Volgograd

In the Krasnoarmeysky District of Volgograd, near a boat station, a man«s body was found. The body was pulled from the Volga River early this morning. Emergency services are working at the scene.

«Early this morning, near the boat station, a man»s body was extracted from the water. Preliminary, the deceased could have been a worker from the same station. Details are being clarified by law enforcement agencies. The causes and circumstances of the incident are being established,« the authors report.

According to coordinates on the map, the man could have been an employee of «Boat Station Sarepta», which is located on Klava Panchishkina Street. Journalists were unable to reach the station by the number listed in open sources. No one answered the calls. The head of the organization, Oleg Lukyanov, also did not pick up the phone. Later, the man himself called back the correspondents and said he would not comment on anything.

In the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Volgograd Region, at the request of V1.RU, information about the tragedy was confirmed, specifying that an inspection is underway.
