Man gropes woman under skirt in Yekaterinburg
A stranger attacked a woman in broad daylight on 8 Marta Street in Yekaterinburg. The victim filmed him and described the incident.

Yekaterinburg resident Sofia said that on July 21 around noon, a stranger accosted her on 8 Marta Street. The man reached his hand under her skirt.
The victim«s video shows the man walking away after the encounter.
According to the victim, she was crossing the road from Mytny Dvor (a market complex) when she felt someone«s hand between her legs. »I turned around, instinctively slapped his hands away, and shouted, «What are you, crazy?» After that, he walked ahead quickly, constantly looking back at me. Along the way, he approached other women. But when he saw the camera, he backed away from them,« Sofia said.
The woman clarified that she has not yet filed a police report.
Similar incidents have occurred in Yekaterinburg before. In 2022, female residents complained about a cyclist who slapped them on the bottom and rode away. In spring 2026, a similar case occurred in the city center. Psychologists have previously explained what drives men to such actions and gave recommendations on how women should respond to harassment.
