Man Beats Teenager on Shishkov Street in Voronezh

Investigators are checking information about a teenager being beaten on Shishkov Street in Voronezh. This was reported on 5 February by the regional Investigative Committee (SK).

The incident occurred in late January. As part of a pre-investigation check, all circumstances of the fight will be established. Based on the results, a decision on further measures will be made.

Initially, the publication «Bloknot Voronezh» reported the incident, citing the teenager«s mother. According to the media, the boy was beaten by an adult man on the evening of 24 January. The unknown assailant grabbed the victim by the hood, dragged him through the snow, and then hit him on the head. The boy allegedly suffered a concussion and bruises.

The cause of the attack could have been a prank by teenagers: shortly before the attack, they overturned a cart from a nearby hypermarket. The injured boy«s mother claims that her son had nothing to do with it.

UPDATE: The SK reported that a criminal case has been opened under Article 213 of the RF Criminal Code — hooliganism.
