Magnitogorsk tube slide accident injures 5-year-old girl
A young girl on an inflatable tube collides with an adult male on the slide during the incident.
The Investigative Committee published video from the tube slide slope in Magnitogorsk«s Ecopark, where a 5-year-old girl broke her collarbone. Cameras recorded the child»s descent on an inflatable tube and her collision with an adult.
The recording shows the girl sliding down the slope alone on a tube. A man then rolls down the hill behind her and knocks her down as she tries to move away from the slide.
The girl was injured on the tube slide track on January 10. Under investigation are the slope operator and entrepreneur Yevgeny Gankov. The 36-year-old Gankov told MGORSK.RU that after the incident, he himself was hospitalized, attributing the cause to human error.
