This morning, 5 February, a serious traffic accident occurred on a section of the M-7 federal highway near the town of Gorokhovets in Vladimir Region. According to preliminary data, two trucks and three passenger cars were involved.

As a result of the collision, traffic was paralyzed on the approach to the border of Nizhny Novgorod Region. The section from Moskovskaya Street in Gorokhovets to the entry sign for Vladimir Region has been closed for traffic. Vehicles involved in the accident blocked most of the roadway.
A multi-kilometer traffic jam formed on the road toward Nizhny Novgorod. Emergency services are working at the scene. Official information from the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (GIBDD) on the details of the incident and possible casualties has not yet been released.
