On the evening of February 4, St. Petersburg residents noticed thick smoke near Lesnaya metro station.
«Something is burning at Lesnaya. Smoke everywhere,» — one eyewitness reported.
According to the press service of the Vyborgsky District administration, the fire occurred at 31 Kantemirovskaya Street. Firefighters are working at the scene.
The incident caused a serious traffic jam in the area. According to Yandex Maps, by 18:20 the jam stretched for almost two kilometers. The building where the fire occurred houses several shops and a medical laboratory.
