Kuban declares drone danger after overnight UAV attacks

A drone attack threat was declared again after an unsettled night in the region.
On the afternoon of 21 January, a drone threat was declared in the Krasnodar Territory. The notification arrived in the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) app at 14:46 MSK.

The alert urged residents to take shelter away from windows.
“There is a threat of a UAV crash. If you are in a building — move away from windows, take shelter in a room without glass (a corridor, a pantry),” the message stated.
Residents are asked to call 112 if they see fallen drone debris and not to approach it.
Recall, overnight, drones attacked the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea. Locals heard several powerful explosions; later, the republic«s authorities confirmed a “UAV strike” on an apartment building. Residents told of seeing a flash and being gripped by panic. According to the latest data, 13 people were injured, including two children. Facades and windows were damaged in several buildings of the Vinograd-2 residential complex.
