Kremlin: Situation Difficult After Wildberries Drone Attack

On July 21, the Kremlin commented on the drone attack on Wildberries warehouses in the Moscow and Tambov regions. Over the past weekend, drones massively attacked the company«s facilities.
Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses found themselves in a difficult situation after the strikes, but the Cabinet is addressing the issue, said Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
The company is indeed in a difficult situation due to the losses incurred by both the company itself and representatives of small and medium-sized businesses. The government is handling this matter. So it is better to address the prime minister. But the government is in contact with the company; nothing more specific can be said on this topic, the Kremlin representative said during a briefing.
Peskov also stated that Wildberries« warehouses are not used for supplying goods for the needs of the Russian army.
Earlier, MSK1.RU reported that Wildberries« logistics complexes in Kotovsk (Tambov Region) and Elektrostal (Moscow Region) were attacked by drones. In the Moscow region, an oil depot in Noginsk caught fire due to a drone fall. As a result of the attack in the Moscow and Tambov regions, 8 people were killed and 62 were injured.
The company announced it will pay compensation to the victims.
