Krasnoyarsk doctors consult Volga peers on school arson

Doctors from Volga Medical University provided remote consultation to Krasnoyarsk colleagues treating children with severe burns from a school arson attack. The victims' condition remains stable but serious.

Doctors from Privolzhsky Medical University are remotely assisting their Krasnoyarsk colleagues in treating children with burns after an eighth-grader attacked a school. This was reported to NGS24.RU by Sergei Golovach, a representative of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Clinical Hospital (KKB).
Specialists from Privolzhsky Research Medical University conducted a telemedicine consultation for doctors at the Krasnoyarsk Regional Clinical Hospital. During the online session, a treatment strategy was agreed upon for children admitted with severe burn injuries.
At present, doctors assess the condition of all affected patients as stable but serious. As a reminder, three students were admitted to the burn center after the incident at Pokrovskaya School. According to a photo provided to NGS24.RU by a reader, one of the victims has burns on their back and arms.
Two other students suffered hammer blows. They were admitted to Krasnoyarsk City Hospital No. 20 named after Berzon. A teacher also became distressed in the aftermath and required on-site assistance.
