Honored teacher Nadezhda Panova dies in sleep

In Yekaterinburg, honored teacher of Russia Nadezhda Panova has passed away. The primary school teacher worked for 48 years at School No. 20 in Khimmash. Her granddaughter Kristina reported this to E1.RU.

«Nadezhda Ivanovna died in her sleep surrounded by loved ones. Out of 54 years of teaching experience, 48 years she gave to School No. 20. For her, every child was special; she tried to help everyone. She stayed after lessons and gave free additional classes. Once, a student suddenly didn«t come to class, so she went across the whole city to find him. That»s how she was — caring, sincere, and endlessly loving her children,» said the relative.

Nadezhda Panova was 83 years old. She was born in Odessa into a family with Bulgarian roots. Later, she moved to Yekaterinburg with her future husband. She has two sons.

«School was always the work of her life. She sincerely cared about her students, believed that there are no incapable children — each only needs their own approach, attention, and faith in them. Even after retiring on a well-deserved pension, Nadezhda Ivanovna couldn«t part with her beloved work. She continued to work with children at home, helping them master the elementary school curriculum,» added our interlocutor.
