Honored Teacher of Russia Nadezhda Panova, 83, has died in Yekaterinburg, leaving behind a legacy of 54 years in education, nearly all at School No. 20.

In Yekaterinburg, at the age of 83, Honored Teacher of Russia Nadezhda Panova passed away. The primary school teacher died in her sleep, surrounded by her family. Her granddaughter Kristina announced the death. Nadezhda Ivanovna was born in Odesa to a family with Bulgarian roots. Together with her husband, she moved to Yekaterinburg, where she raised two sons. She dedicated 48 of her 54 years of teaching experience to School No. 20 in Khimmash. «Nadezhda Ivanovna died in her sleep surrounded by loved ones. Out of 54 years of teaching, 48 years she gave to School No. 20. For her, every child was special; she tried to help everyone. She stayed after lessons and held free additional classes. Once, one of her students suddenly stopped coming to classes, so she herself traveled across the entire city to find him. That»s how she was — caring, sincere, and endlessly loving her children,« said the relative.
The woman worked for almost 50 years at School No. 20 in Khimmash.

«School was always her life»s work. She genuinely worried about her students, believed that there are no incapable children — each just needs their own approach, attention, and faith. Even after retiring, Nadezhda Ivanovna could not part with her beloved work. She continued to teach children at home, helped them master the primary school curriculum,« added the relative.
