Repair work is underway in the settlement of Darasun, Karymsky District, where a burst occurred on the main heat supply network on the afternoon of January 21. Clamps are being applied to the damaged section of the network. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the regional government.

«A burst occurred in the heat supply pipe with a diameter of 325 mm. The location of the burst has been identified — work is currently underway to restore integrity, one clamp has been put on, the second is in the process of installation,» the message says.

During the repair work, heat supply has been limited to 17 apartment buildings (2,250 people) and a secondary school.

At the same time, the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services clarified that heat supply has not been stopped via the second branch — a pipe with a diameter of 150 mm.

It is expected that the second clamp will be installed within an hour.

Residents of the settlement complained to Chita.Ru about cooling radiators in apartments due to problems at the boiler house on January 21. The head of the district, Oleg Pavlov, explained that a burst occurred on the main heat pipeline in the settlement.

Earlier, a similar burst of the central heat pipeline occurred in Atamanovka on the afternoon of December 30. It could not be fixed quickly, and as a result, residents of the settlement celebrated the New Year in cold apartments. On January 1, the boiler house was started at full capacity, but then in the settlement a new burst in the heat pipeline occurred — on Tselinnaya Street, and it was soon eliminated. The governor of the region, Alexander Osipov, visited Atamanovka and held a meeting. Investigators initiated a criminal case for negligence, as about 3,000 people were left without heat. Since December 30, a municipal state of emergency has been in effect in Atamanovka.
