The moment of a powerful explosion at a gas station in the Surgut district was recorded by several eyewitnesses. The published footage shows a burning tractor and tanker, followed by intense detonation. The video appeared on the Telegram channel mdps86.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM), the fire at the gas station occurred on February 5 around 12:00 in the settlement of Solnechny, Surgut district (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug). By the time rescuers arrived, the fire had completely engulfed the MAZ tanker truck. The blaze was extinguished by 12:41, covering an area of approximately 150 square meters.
The ministry confirmed that two people were injured in the incident, but their identities have not been disclosed. The footage shows that at the moment of the explosion, firefighters were in close proximity to the tanker.
«As a result of the incident, two people were injured. They have been taken to a medical facility; information is being clarified. 20 personnel and 5 units of EMERCOM equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire,» the ministry stated.
Earlier, in late January, an explosion occurred in the courtyard of a residential building in Tyumen. An investigation showed that the cause was a gas leak in a car due to a faulty gas cylinder system. The driver, who did not notice the leak, lit a cigarette, leading to detonation.
