Fuel Train Fire Delays Eight Tavria Trains via Rostov
A fuel train derailment and fire in Tambov Oblast caused delays of up to 7.5 hours for eight Tavria trains passing through Rostov.

Authorities opened a criminal investigation into the fuel train derailment and fire.

Due to a fire on the railway in Tambov Oblast, multiple Tavria trains are delayed by up to 7.5 hours. This was reported by the press service of the carrier Grand Service Express. All these trains pass through Rostov.
Thus, trains bound for Crimea are delayed:
- No. 068 Moscow — Simferopol, by 7.5 hours;
- No. 195 Moscow — Simferopol, by 7 hours;
- No. 007 St. Petersburg — Sevastopol, by 5 hours;
- No. 092 Moscow — Sevastopol, by 5 hours.
From Crimea:
- No. 008 Sevastopol — St. Petersburg, by 5 hours;
- No. 068 Simferopol — Moscow, by 6 hours;
- No. 196 Simferopol — Moscow, by 4.5 hours;
- No. 092 Sevastopol — Moscow, by 7 hours.
The company noted that the delay times may change. Train chiefs are informing passengers. Passengers on trains delayed more than 4 hours will be provided with water and food.
The incident on the railway in Tambov Oblast occurred at 15:34 on February 4. A fuel train derailed and 16 tank cars caught fire.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case for violation of safety and operation rules of railway transport.
