Flight from Dubai to Kazan forced to land in Baku

A Boeing 737 traveling from Dubai to Kazan was forced to make an unscheduled landing at the airport in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, early this morning, according to Interfax.
The aircraft touched down at 00:04 local time (23:04 MSK). The FlyDubai crew requested to land due to technical reasons.
Baku airport services promptly carried out all necessary measures in accordance with international aviation safety protocols.
According to the arrival board at Kazan airport, the plane landed in Kazan about six hours later than scheduled, arriving at 06:45 instead of the planned 00:50.
This follows an incident on January 8, when a flight from Dubai to Moscow issued a distress signal during its journey. Shortly after, Utair airline confirmed it had landed safely at 17:37 MSK. The crew and passengers were fine, but thousands of people tracking the event on FlightRadar had been worried about their fate.
